While doing some Uber Eats Deliveries, I came across the 37th annual Taste of Armenia Street Fair in Evanston, IL. The St. James Armenian Church hosted the event and extended an invitation to the entire community. I didn't get to stay long, but I was able to talk to a friendly guy named Mike, who offered me some wisdom on the event. He relayed that they do it every year and that the church is very welcoming. It was something for the neighborhood and the community, and it was evident that the community supported the event from the turnout. There was food, vendors, and live music from a local band known as Hye-Fybe. A fit environment for one of the last weekends of summer.
