Animal Kingdom

One day, I decided to go back to watching Netflix. I moved on to another platform--well, another show. Though on this day, in the top 10 was Animal Kingdom. I don't know how long it was there, but it seemed like something intriguing enough to click.
To be honest, the signs were all there; the show had six seasons, a unique story, and a captivating intro. From each second forward, it didn't disappoint.
The series was created by Jonathan Lisco, and ran from 2016-2022. The story centers around a family that commits a heist to survive. They live well and eat well, and have been doing so for years. Then J, the nephew and grandson of the family, arrives after his mother passes, and is introduced to the lifestyle just like us. From there, the family continues to live the way they always have.
Drama arises within the family due to their lifestyle and past. While situations sting, the family tries to remain intact.

Hanna

I've had Amazon Prime for a while, mainly for free shipping, but also for Invincible. Almost two months ago, I started using Prime to watch movies--in my opinion, their introduction to movies is the most cinematic. Maybe two weeks ago, I decided to give some shows a try. And after a week of avoidance, I finally clicked Hanna.
The show, created by David Farr, is a coming-of-age story following a young girl named Hanna who is raised in the forest and knows nothing of her past. I ignored the show a few times because I felt it might've been immature and cliché. However, in the second episode, you understand Hanna is no regular girl and she can't live the life of a teenage girl. Once she understands her past, her journey is filled with mostly evasion, being hunted by a government organization.
The show has action and mystery. While Hanna plans to figure out her life, there are plenty of obstacles in her way, but her biggest is trust.
